Gremlin is a WiFi-controlled AC light dimmer built for scene lighting in haunted attractions, seasonal events, and live productions. It controls standard bulbs up to 1000 watts total, producing realistic effect patterns — from candle flames and lantern swings to lightning strikes, electrical faults, and reactor pulses. Customizable effects, all adjustable in real time.

No app required. No internet connection needed. Designed for operators who need reliable,  results.

Gremlin works with any standard incandescent bulbs including edison style. Standard LED bulbs/ Dimmable LED bulbs will work with varying success or damage to the bulb depending on the varying components of the many LED bulbs.

CONTROL VIA PHONE BROWSER

Gremlin creates its own WiFi network the moment it powers on. Connect from any phone or laptop browser - the interface loads automatically. No pairing, no account.

• Select any effect instantly from a scrollable list organized by category

• Three sliders control Brightness, Speed, and Depth for each effect

• Each slider shows a recommended starting point for the active effect  tap to snap back to it instantly

• The ON/OFF toggle cuts output without changing your active mode or settings

EFFECT MODES

Effects span a wide range of looks, most tunable with three sliders:

• Candle, lantern swing, torch flicker

• Lightning, arc welder, electrical fault

• Reactor pulse, strobe, random flicker

• And many more — new effects added via OTA firmware updates

LOCK YOUR SETTINGS

Once you dial in an effect for a specific scene, tap LOCK to save your slider positions to the device. Locked settings survive power cycles and reboots — the scene comes up exactly the same every time. Each effect mode stores its own independent lock, so every scene on your route can be customized and saved separately.

RUNNING MULTIPLE UNITS

Each Gremlin can be given a unique name through the settings menu — Cemetery, Barn, PumpkinPatch, etc. This renames its WiFi network, making it easy to identify and control individual units across a large attraction without confusion. WiFi password is also user-configurable.
